Extended Abstract Submission Guidance
When using the ‘submit now’ button (above) for uploading your extended abstract, you will be requested to login to your previous short abstract submission profile. Please note that this is separate to your euspen membership information. A list of your short abstract submissions will be shown enabling you to select each of them to upload an extended abstract.
As part of the submission process you will be requested to select four keywords which best decribe your research, and these keywords will be used for search functions on abstracts selected for inclusion into euspen’s printed and electronic proceedings. Additionally as part of the submission process you can nominate your extended abstract as a poster presentation only if you do not wish the scientific committee to consider it as an oral presentation when the review process is taking place.
All accepted papers (oral and poster presentations) are published in euspen’s conference proceedings in the form of both a printed and digital version. Proceedings are indexed and the top selected conference extended abstracts will also be given the opportunity to be published in the Precision Engineering Journal which has an Impact Factor of 1.91.
Please use the A4 template and submit your document online in WORD format. Submitted extended abstracts must not exceed two pages of A4 and must include authors’ names, affiliations and email address of the corresponding author. Further guidance can be found in the ‘style guide’ document. Any submissions that do not comply with the template provided will be returned to the author for correction.
You are requested to submit an extended abstract online for review no later than the closing date of 20th January 2017.
The decision regarding presentation format (oral or poster) will be made by the International Scientific Committee. Once the review of all submitted extended abstracts, both authors and co-authors will be notified no later than 24th March 2017. With the acceptance notification authors will be provided with instructions for their presentation (oral/poster).
Please note: Authors are expected to attend in person to present their work.
