HEIDENHAIN Scholarships 2017

euspen are delighted to announce that HEIDENHAIN GmbH will once again very kindly support the provision of a number of student scholarships for their 17thInternational Conference.
The HEIDENHAIN group of companies was brought into a philanthropic Foundation over 40 years ago with a philosophy to invest in research, development, social and scientific projects.
We are honoured HEIDENHAIN GmbH have been associated with euspen‘s International Conference for over ten years and have provided more than 100 scholarships to date.
Scholarships are available for students or researchers registered for Masters/PhD or equivalent courses at a recognised International Higher Education Institution.
Successful scholars are required to evidence significant potential in the field and will be provided with free registration for the conference as well as a travel bursary from euspen. Previous HEIDENHAIN scholars at euspen‘s International Conference are not permitted to apply.
Applicant Needs The Following
Applicants should email the following
A. A completed CV in the form of a CV EUROPASS. Pay attention to the instructions, and substantiate that you are “young and promising”, even if you have not submitted an extended abstract for the conference.
If you are beyond 30 years, explain why your scientific career has progressed slower than normal and how your actual occupation will benefit your future scientific career.
B. Publications. If you have submitted an extended abstract for the conference, this will be included in the evaluation. If you have not submitted an extended abstract, attach one publication or report that best demonstrates your scientific potential.
C. A letter of recommendation from one of your supervisors. The less experienced you are, the more important it is that the recommendation in some specific way describes your potential.
The supervisor should also state, if according to his or her opinion, the institution is particularly ill-positioned to fund the costs of attending the conference.
