Dear euspen Colleagues,
As you may be aware, each year elections take place for a number of seats on euspen's international Council.
In 2010 four seats will be available and it is the role of euspen Nominating Committee to prepare nominations for these positions on behalf of euspen Council. Candidates joining the nominations list will be entered into the 2010 Council election ballot.
Should you wish to apply to the Nominations Committee to join the list of nominees or would like further information on the role and activities of the Council, please contact Nominations Committee Chair, Prof. Hans Hansen, as below, who would be very happy to help you.
Candidates may also be nominated to stand for election by petition of members of the society. Currently the support of 5 members is required. Candidates wishing to take up this opportunity should complete a 2010 Council Nominee Form providing details of supporting members. Members supporting a nominee are required to complete a Council Nominee Support Form.
Completed forms should be returned to euspen Headquarters, as detailed therein, no later than 29th April 2010. Please note, candidates for Council positions are required to have been members of the society for at least 3 years on the date at which they would take office, Wed 2nd June, 2010.
